Sam Temperton

Sam Temperton is a Consultant in the European Search Team at Wilton & Bain, having joined in January 2026. He supports leadership hiring for consultancies, challenger advisory firms, corporates, and PE-backed organisations.

He specialises at the intersection of consulting and financial services, working on senior transformation and corporate function roles across both established and high-growth businesses.

Prior to Wilton & Bain, Sam was employee number one at Tarka Talent, where he helped build the firm and led the financial services practice, focusing on Partner, Director, and Senior Manager appointments and consulting team builds for challenger brands.

Sam brings a strong understanding of leadership hiring and talent attraction, taking a collaborative, relationship-led approach grounded in deep insight into client businesses and culture.

He studied Economics at the University of York and is a keen food enthusiast outside of work.
