Chief Client Officer

Olly Wakefield joined Wilton & Bain as Chief Client Officer in July 2025. He has responsibility for driving our Group GTM strategy, increasing client penetration and improving how we utilise technology and data.

Olly has previously held leadership positions for a mixture of PLC, Private and PE backed recruitment and executive search organisations as a finance function specialist, leading high-performance teams before transitioning into divisional sales and group-focused sales roles across the UK, Europe and USA.

With experience across the Financial services, TMT, Business Services and Industrials spaces, Olly works with organisations to hire the best interim leaders and permanent talent to deliver their strategic goals.

Olly is passionate about employing a customer-first mentality through effective KAM and a clear focus on ensuring that we support clients in the areas where we will deliver above our clients’ expectations.

Outside of work, Olly is father to Ted and Lottie and husband to Jess. At weekends, he can usually be found walking Sally their Goldendoodle or watching any sport!
