Jacob Humbert joined Wilton & Bain as Partner in our North American People & Culture Practice in September 2025. Jacob leads business development, search execution, client management, and candidate assessment for top executives and next-generation leaders across multiple functional areas and industries.

He joined Wilton & Bain after 5.5 years with Jobplex/DHR Global, where he was a top Partner within the Corporate Functions Practice Group, placing emerging leaders and C-Suite executives globally. Previously, Jacob served as Vice President of Recruiting and Managing Partner at a boutique executive search firm, leading human resources, and executive searches for some of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing companies. His track record includes successfully delivering searches for numerous private equity-backed businesses and Fortune 50 organizations across corporate functional areas (HR, Finance, IT) and commercial functions (Sales, Marketing).

Jacob takes a deeply consultative approach, working to fully understand his clients’ organizations, culture, and strategic goals. He is committed to identifying leaders who are the right fit both in terms of capability and cultural alignment, recognizing that people are the driving force behind any organization’s success.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Jacob still resides there with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children, Noah and Madison. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Sport Marketing and Business & Organizational Leadership from Bowling Green State University and Penn State University.
