A new perspective on search

Kantar is a global marketing data, insights, and consulting business serving many of the world’s largest advertisers. In 2019, WPP sold a 60% stake in Kantar to Bain Capital in a transaction valuing the business at $4 billion.
As Kantar moved from a consulting-led business toward a product-led SaaS technology model, the company needed to strengthen its leadership capabilities to support this strategic shift.
OBJECTIVE
Strengthen Kantar’s global product leadership team with senior executives bringing deeper technology, SaaS, data, and analytics expertise.
The Chief Product Officer, having relocated from New York to London, was tasked with building on the existing team’s consulting and marketing expertise by introducing the technical capabilities required to support the company’s evolving business model.
OUR ROLE
Wilton & Bain partnered with Kantar’s Global Head of Executive Recruiting, Chief Product Officer, and VP of People on a multi-hire executive search program.
Over 18 months, Wilton & Bain delivered 11 appointments across the global product leadership team and its supporting functions in London and North America.
The relationship subsequently extended beyond Product, supporting senior leaders across Finance, Technology, and divisional leadership functions in Europe and North America.
OUTCOME
Wilton & Bain delivered 11 hires across Kantar’s global product organization, strengthening leadership capability as the business developed its product-led SaaS model.
Across a broader 24-month engagement, the partnership also supported the CFO, divisional CEOs, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Technology Officer with additional appointments into their respective teams.
