Software & Systems

Digitalisation is driving an increased urgency for organisations to adapt and move away from legacy technologies. As a result the software and online industry is evolving at ever greater pace, moving from product-based solutions to applications that can be offered as a service in the cloud. An organisation’s speed of adoption dictates how quickly they can maximise customer experience and value proposition. Software is now even becoming integral to companies that historically used very little technology.

Wilton & Bain’s Software & Systems practice works with some of the leading software vendor’s as well as the wider technology and advisory community who are increasingly required to deploy software solutions to their customer base.

Max Maufe

Max is a Partner within Wilton & Bain’s Technology Services Practice. Having graduated from Exeter with a degree in Economics he joined the business as a Researcher and progressed quickly into the leadership team. He has delivered a vast array of search mandates for blue-chip service providers as well as a number of smaller technology firms, often with Venture Capital backing. Functionally this has ranged from General management and Sales leadership right through to the CTO office. His core strength is in building long standing client relationships through his commitment to delivering results. Having grown up in the depths of North Norfolk Max is regularly looking for an excuse to leave the big smoke, whether that be for golf, skiing, sailing or indeed tending to his small but nonetheless backbreaking vineyard!

Simon Kent

These mandates have typically been global in remit and at the Director, VP/ Partner or SVP/ Managing Partner level. Simon grew up in Surrey and moved to London after graduating with a 2:1 in English Literature from the University of York.
