Piers Marmion

Chairman

Piers is a Cambridge graduate who following on from an early career in family office private equity, has spent over 20 years in leadership roles in the human capital sector, as an entrepreneur, CEO, Board Director and investor. He has been a founding director of two successful start-ups, Nb Selection and Selector Europe, which he reversed into Spencer Stuart, becoming Managing Partner EMEA and worldwide COO. He was Chairman & CEO of Heidrick & Struggles Inc, and led the take-private of Whitehead-Mann plc and its sale to Korn/Ferry. He is currently Chairman of London based specialist search firm Wilton & Bain, Chairman of the supervisory Board of India’s largest domestic recruitment group, ABC, Chairman of Fintech business Mogoplus and Education technology business Route2Work.

David Heron

CEO

David is Group CEO of Wilton & Bain Group, and the founding Partner of WBMS. He joined the Group in 2011, as part of a diversification strategy to grow the company across “product, geography and customer” and has been an influential member of the Group leadership team that has seen the firm grow significantly during the period. He was made Group CEO, following the completion of an MBO, backed by Beechbrook Capital in May 2017. Prior to this, David was Head of the TMT practice for a top 3 UK interim provider, and previously he established, and then ran the Interim Management business for Badenoch & Clark.

David’s particular expertise, and passion is in helping clients to think creatively around how to resource their key challenges, and in working with Senior Executives, to scope out, and deliver major transformation programmes, typically with a strong digital/commercial bias to them.

Jeremy Mobbs

Founding Partner

Jeremy Co-founded Wilton & Bain in 2001.  He created the business with the ambition of becoming the number one human capital advisory business dedicated to the technology and professional services industries. During his time as Co-CEO he grew the business from a two person start up to the independently rated number one human capital advisory business in its dedicated sectors, with global offices and frequent appearances in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 of fastest growing UK Private firms.  In 2017 the company secured a private equity investment and the associated MBO, Jeremy moved from Co- CEO to leadership of the new board.

Jeremy still operates as a partner and advises clients within the technology and professional services segment on the full range of human capital and leadership advisory services.

Ben Latreuille

Founding Partner

Ben Co-founded Wilton & Bain in 2001.  He created the business with the ambition of becoming the number one human capital advisory business dedicated to the technology and professional services industries. Warwick Stacey

Partner

Warwick is a partner within the firm’s global Professional Services Practice. With over 20 years executive search experience Warwick has worked with some of the leading Audit, Strategy, Consulting and Professional Services firms, completing on Partner, Director and team searches globally. During his time in industry he has completed on over 250 search assignments and has been responsible for concluding on some of the most high profile moves within the Professional Services sector.

As well as focusing on the servicing of professional services clients, Warwick also participates in the firms Diversity initiative, commentating and advising clients on ways to address their diversity challenges. Warwick joined Wilton & Bain in 2003 having previously worked for another leading global search business in London and in Hong Kong.

Education: BSc with, Honours in Archaeology from Leeds University.

Peter Kirtley

Institutional Investor

Peter represents Beechbrook Capital, our institutional investor, as a board observer. He has held many similar roles over his 20 years experience of making and managing investments in U.K. companies.
